CPR, Choking Relief Classes, and First Aid
The basic lifesaving techniques of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) are vital for any caregiver to know. However, it’s typically difficult to implement a comprehensive training program to ensure volunteers have completed CPR & choking relief courses.
When church staff and volunteers complete CPR & choking relief training using Safehive, they can also can check back to watch videos, review written curriculum and take the test anytime to refresh their memory. This is a key feature that a one-time class cannot provide.

The First Aid course highlights first aid topics a childcare worker or volunteer are most-likely to encounter. In this module, they will learn how to treat the following: insect bites and stings, nose bleeds, head trauma, bruises, cuts and scrapes. The curriculum also includes a recommended health-screening process to help volunteers determine if a child is healthy enough to attend class with others.
